I found an old, unknown, american beater in the trash. It was perfectly ridable and the perfect subject to test out my newly acquired knowlege on. Stripped it naked, cleaned and greased everything, put it back together. It rides... better! YAY! It was fun and gave me a huge boost of confidence without the fear of destroying something beautiful.
