So how does this figure into the mix? Do I have an old frame. Doesn't bother me though, still a great deal on a CF frame and fork.
Now that I think about it, I paid the same amount back in 93 for my CF Racin Bik (aka Aegis Aro) with an aluminum fork and painted.
I think
RDB-07 is the model number or order number, and the
AKnnnn number is the frame number from that order. So if my assumption is correct, I have a frame from the previous batch since the numbering scheme does not match at all.
If I were to apply my own brand of logic to this numbering scheme, I would say that
RDB =
Road Bike and the
07 is the year of production or when it was ordered. Then the last numbers are the frame number produced so far, meaning yours was the
2xx frame made in 07.
