haha no way can I push 600 watts for more than a minute or two, and that would be redlining it.
Your body gets better at storing energy and using energy the more you ride. There is no good reason to ride 2.5-3 hrs without any food... you're just hurting yourself. Bring food. You can't train efficiently if you're bonking half way into all your long rides.
You mashers have hours and hours of energy in the muscle? Stop kidding yourself. Mashing gears is just straight up stupid and inefficient. Even pros who we consider "mashers" spin most of the time, they just don't spin as fast as others. If you're riding around at 75rpm you're just asking for trouble.
