I was going to buy one of these last year and I had the same concern. Here is an email response from XERO regarding wheel capacity:

Hi , Charlie:

Thanks for your email. XSR-2 is 20/24 spokes wheelset. The weight capacity for XSR-1 is below 80kg ( 176lb). The following is our spoke counts weight capacity for your future reference.

20~24 (include 24 spokes) --- below 80kg

24~28 (include 28 spokes) --- below 90 kg

up to 32 spokes ( include 32 spokes ) --- No limit
