As far as asigning Stupidity to others freely, I was tempted when I asked 4 coworkers if they knew where Egypt is. They are all "well educated". Only one knew. I think that opening up their eyes to their lack of knowledge might inspire them to pay more attension to world events, which they help shape with their votes.
