Thanks. My first serious equipment failure - a 5.5' drop to flat. I felt like I hit it pretty well, if a little low, and was confused as to why I was under my bike. After a few seconds to regain my composure, I noticed my stem had sheared. *shrug* What's a guy to do.

It should be noted that I did this jump (which I knew my bike wasn't set up to handle, and which I knew I wasn't skilled enough to do safely) purely because my riding partner challenged my masculinity after I backed out of a tough spot just before.
