Bib Shorts Opinions
Well, I tried the Search function (tried "bib short") and got just about every thread NOT about bib shorts. So has this topic been beaten to death?
Am looking to get a new pair of bibs (thanks...only bibs). I currently am riding a pair of bergamo exta-thick lycra (fleece-lycra??) for the winter riding out here in Cali. However, with summer fast approaching...
In the past, I have been devoted to Pearl Izumi. But thought I would at least try out others. The shorts I'm looking at are:
Assos FI.13 S2
Giordana ??unsure??
Descente Aero Exo
Castelli Free Bibshort
Questions:
Do they have short-thighs or long-thighs? (I prefer longer. The Bergamo's I have are short).
How's the gripper elastic feel? (I'm currently non-shaved, but may shave in future)
What about the chamois? Any advice there? Does it last on 70-100 mile rides?
