'Tis true. The "Inland Empire" is a label that covers way too much space. What would be a better name for the area anyway?
But then again, I HAVE driven to Fullerton to be in their monthly CMs for lack of anything else out here.
I think the biggest handicap that an IE CM would have is that anyone driving from the west would be discouraged by rush hour traffic. For me going to Fullerton wasn't too bad, but I can't imagine the reverse drive at that time of day.
If you did have a Ridazz event in Redlands, I'd drive there to be a part of it. Lame or not. :-D

Sure, I live in the IE, and would be down for something like that, but I'm in Redlands, the ride is in Rancho. The distance makes attending pretty impractical.
I'd basically have two choices:
1. Drive to Rancho with my bike. Sorry, but I can't think of anything lamer than *driving* to a CM ride.
2. Ride to work. Ride to Rancho, from San Bernardino, after work. Do the ride. Ride home to Redlands. I'm in pretty good shape, and ride quite a bit, so this is not intimidating from a physical point of view, but I'd fear for my safety riding back from Rancho to Redlands after dark. The available routes are pretty sketchy in *daylight*.
OTOH, I've been considering trying to organize something similar out here in Redlands, though I was thinking more along the lines of a Midnight Ridazz vibe than CM.
