I have used Terry liberators for the past 5 yrs as my preferred saddle.
They are occasionally on sale at Performance for as low as $30 but
usually more like $45 to 55 depending on version. Although they are
comfortable out to 70-90mi for me, they tend to soften over 3-5 kmi
in the center on either side of the slot and finally are so saggy in
there they have to be replaced. So they have a relatively short
lifespan, for a saddle. I have gone through 3-4 of them over the last
5yrs on three road bikes. Recently tried an E3 (about $60 or so) and
find it acceptable out to 65mi.
