Apologies in advance for my ignorance, I'm not the most technical person around (as you may have gathered my the nature of my question).

I had a Trek 2007 T10 hybrid arrive today, with a 'Tektro V' brakeset. However, the metal of the component through which I run the front brake cable is warped and so the cable will not stay secured. I've no idea what this component is called, so I've included a picture.

Also, the component does not appear to be unscrewable. Is it possible to get a replacement just for this?
