Don't get me wrong, the visuals were stunning, but the lameness of the dialog really made you remember you were in a theater.

I saw Sin City too, and I thought it was
both visually stimulating, and an interesting story with good dialog that made it work. People laughing in the theater during a serious speech on the other hand is probably not a good sign.
