So many things remind me of the 70s:

1: Highly controversial war.
2: A president with scandals.
3: An economy hurting.
4: Threat of nukes.
5: Gas issues.
6: Smaller cars made by car makers as a knee-jerk reaction.
7: Lots of ideas and people coming out of the woodwork for alternative energy solutions, a good number just plain lame, or looking for suckers.

Well, almost like the 70s... Pop music played on the radio in the 70s didn't suck.
