Anyway if I was buying a cheap bike and had a cheap steel option like that I would go for steel over AL. Cheap steel will be a smoother ride than cheap AL in about 9.9 cases out of 10. I see a lot of good in that bike for the price...Tiagra rather than Sora, decent fork...reasonable set of higher spoke count wheels (they will last longer than cheap low spoke count wheels for sure). If I was in the market for a bike in that price range I would loook seriously at that bike.
