Umm.... guys... fellow Torontonians... I got a question for you that's not related to fixies, but I hope you forgive me. Does anyone know where I could rent a tandem bike in Toronto? My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and I had an idea of a tandem ride as part of the plan, but I don't know if it's doable. The only place that rents tandems in Toronto seems to be the Island Rentals, and they are not going to be open for a couple more months anyway. There is also a place in the East end that rents "historical" bikes to the media and they have a 30's tandem, but I doubt they'd let me have it just for a few hours for a friviolous birthday spin.

So, does anyone know of any place I overlooked in my search? Or maybe you even know an individual who owns a tandem and would be willing to make a few bucks by renting it to a very careful cyclist that is myself? *sigh* Probably not, but at least I tried.
