Run it if you want to. There's the added "complexity" and "weight" of having a second brake, but it's so insignificant that no sane person would worry about it. I don't run a rear brake is that I don't have one and I'd be too lazy to install one if I did. Honestly, aesthetics are a factor for me too. If not I might acquire a rear brake and install it.
