I've got a Specialized Shark Cruiser I bought in 1996, and I think they only made them for that year or 2 years at the outside. From what I've found on the Internet, it's a pretty rare bike. I've seen only one other.

It was around $280. It had shark-themed bits all over it, including a bottle opener. I've still got it; I'll try to dig up a photo. Don't know if this helps because I know your post is from 1.5 years ago, but it might help someone else.
