Why is it that no matter how I lean my bike against a pole while I'm getting my locks out to lock it up, the front wheel instantly spins 90 degrees and the bike begins a sliding journey around the pole, scratching the F*(&@ out of my top tube?! No matter how I lean it, at what angle, or how the bars are set, that thing refuses to sit still when I take my hands off of it. This last weekend, I even parked the thing in dirt and carefully leaned it against a small tree, making sure it was firmly in place for a few seconds before turning around to get my bag. Turn back around and the thing is on the other side of the tree on its side on the ground with a nice big tree-colored scratch on the top tube... After the 5th time or so it did it this morning, I nearly bashed it with my U-lock, I was so pissed.

I can't be the only one this drives nuts.
