Took my freshly powdercoated fork to my lbs today to have the crown race intalled for the ritchey logic headset I bought from them. They were unable to get it to go on. I mean they pounded like heck and it would not go. What should I do now.

I currently have both the fork and the race in my deep freeze going for the shrink factor. If that does not work, should I get the dremmel out and grinding? I have never seen one this tough to set. Any other ideas?
