I just got off the phone with Rob Ford. He apologized immediately if I or
anyone else was offended by what he is quoted as saying in today's Star.
He says when he read it he realized it didn't come across they way he
meant it.
He says he agrees that transportaion is a major issue for everyone but
that he doesn't know what the answers are.
I ran a few active transport ideas by him that he semed to get and
promised to follow up with him after he is finished trying to spit out his
foot.

wayne rocks and has done many great things for the cyclists and messengers of Toronto. But this just comes across as politician double-speak and back-pedalling (pun fully intended). So his comment didn't come across as he intended? How was this supposed to come across? So you dont know what the answers are yet dump on the people who actually try to travel/commute in an environmentally responsible way? I dont buy his crummy apology.
