Now I never said they set it on the ground. They may have pounded the heck out of it but they did it with the fork straddling a brace. The fork ends never touched the ground. They screwed up yes, but they did not and were not going to cause any damage. Any way all is well, I have the race on, and the headset installed. Using this shop is the price I have to pay for convenience which is why I am learning to do my own wrenching. There are just some tools that are not worth buying for the amount of use they get. I did however make a poor mans headset press out of a threaded rod and some washer that worked great. Thanks again.
