Quality of Jalco Wheels
I bought a Scott S30 and it came stock with Jalco GX 460 wheels.
I only have about 125 miles on the bike and the rear wheel became slightly out of true and a nipple on the front wheel somehow unscrewed itself and fell into the v rim cavity and of course it is out of true also.
I know low quality wheels come on bikes to keep the cost down but I was hoping to get a year or two out of these wheels before I have to convince my wife I need to upgrade them.
Does anyone have any opinions/experience with Jalco Wheels? Should I start buttering up the wife or do you think once the LBS fixes the nipple and re-trues them they will be OK for a while?
