I have a pre-built 58cm CC and I traded the stock tires for a set of 23mm slicks at the suggestion of my LBS. Frankly I was a little concerned about their thinness since even on my old Bianchi I generally ran 25s. I only use the CC for recreational riding and don't have it fitted with racks or anything. The bike seems to run fine and have had no real problems. The next set of slicks will be wider ones though. Currently, I am running a set of 35mm knobbies with fenders considering the weather.
