I hear ya I commute to seattle regularly and I caught up to this old guy as we were nearing the bridge and he looks at me and looks at my bike (I am told that I carry my 270 well, but I am not sure how well that is in spandex :-0 ) and says whats a guy your size need a bike called an Extralight. I can't remember what I said but something along the lines of I need all the help I can get. Frustrating though, I wanted to ask what he needed a custom Davidson for but figured was best to just ride off and let him wonder how and why I was faster "at your size". I am very popular on the bridge though, I had one guy drafting me say he has never been able to go that fast down the bridge .
