So how about we give EVERYBODY a gun to level the playing field?

or take away guns from EVERYBODY... which would achieve the same effect?

after reading this thread, im more afraid of the armed here than i am of anything else on the road. i live in "the heart of texas", btw





edit: a few months ago i used to carry around a really nifty little Kershaw Chive knife (w/ legal switchblade-like auto-open action)... it was more for utility than anything... i carried it mostly for sh*t and giggles, tho.

one night i got involved in a drunken conflict. i remembered about my knife but did not at all consider pulling it out. if i had, the outcome wouldve been bad.. .for either, or maybe both, of us.... none of which would have been favorable. im glad i had restraint. im more glad that he did not have a knife... but im most glad that he did not have a gun...
