"Blah, Blah, Blah"? That is simply the most thoughtful and informative post I've ever seen relating to the abuse of "Bike Forums" by the "BikesDirect/Cycle Spectrum" coterie.

Try this: respond with FACTS based on your own investigation to each of the FACTS that relate to this shop and this bike:

- there is NO such independent bike company known as "Windsor"...this is simply a decal placed on some imported "housebrand" bikes by BikesDirect/Cycle Specturm

- No reputable bike shop in the USA sells Windsor bikes

- the "list price" of Windsor bikes at Cycle Spectrum is a fiction...the "discount price" is the ordinary everyday price

- the person assembling the bikes at a Cycle Spectrum shop typically is untrained, unsupervised, has less than one year of bike repair experince, and will typically be a different guy than the guy who was there last month

- the "lifetime service" policy is a fiction, because the problems with the bike are typically the result of faulty workmanship by the same guy who you will ask to repair the problem

- the "factory warranty" is a fiction, because the actual factory that madethe bike provides no warranty. The warranty is provided only by BD/CS, and has the same limitations as the "lifetime service" policy.

Again, these are simply facts. You can respond with "blah, blah, blah, or with facts. But, my expectations are not very high.
