I just took my new Toupe Gel out on its maiden voyage today, a 50-miler. Some smooth roads, some bumpy; mostly flat but some short climbs as well. At first I was thinking it's the first saddle I've had that I felt very comfortable on right from the start...after about 25-30 miles I started noticing the sit-bones getting a tad sore. Shifting my weight around helped some, but it never became anywhere close to intolerable. I'm 6'1", 175 lbs...I think I'll really like this saddle once my butt breaks in, or vice-versa. I was riding a Terry Firefly which was okay, but I did get numb with it and had to stand frequently to alleviate that. There was absolutely no numbness with the Toupe today, none whatsoever. The fellas thanked me for it.
