Absolutely.
One tries to find a postitive side to life's twists and turns.
I find it very interesting that several other riders share my numerology thing, including seven and prime numbers.
I can't explain it in rational terms, which surprises me given the rational nature of numbers.
I think it has something to do with a subconscious aesthetic, like
PHI, or 1.618, also known as the Golden Section.
Several folks came up with some interesting options.
I would like to stay with 3/32's because of the weight.

If anyone has a link to a 43t or 47t ring in 3/32's and with a 130mm BCD, well, that would make it unnecessary to get a Sugino 75 crank in 144mm BCD.
I have in fact found several 43t 3/32's 130 BCD rings, but when I attempted to order them, the seller revealed he didn't actually have it in stock.
I've never seen a 47t 3/32's 130 BCD ring, but I remain open to that option.
I would prefer the 43t, though, as it would give me both a 66 gear inch and a 60 gear inch option.
Y'know, the thought that this treatment might make me very sick does not sit peacefully on my mind, but I can bear it.
However, the thought of not riding for six months hurts to even comtemplate.
I figure if I gear down enough, I can ride if I can just get on the critter.
Anyway, in the absence of any more photos, or links to 43t chainrings, I will probably go with the black Sugino 75's if I do the treatment.
I'll know which way this will go by the second week in April.
