For me, installing the cleats was the easy part. The LBS did it for me for free

Seriously, the hard part was getting the positioning right. My right foot ended up being a bit different than my left and it took a while to get that dialed in. Once I did though, I would not go back. I *have* to in the winter months so I can use boots because of the cold. As soon as the morning temps grow consistently above 35, I'm back to my spd's and cannondale Roam shoes
