East Hill:The first shop was mainly Trek, so I was shown some hybrids from their 7k series. The other had Giant, Cannondale, and I think a few Specialized. I was browsing/researching, so they nor I delved into the specific models. It was more of an overview of the possible features and what frame would fit me best (which seemed to be the 20").

Diesel Dan: I think I saw the Bad Boy and liked it. I was a little hesitant because this was before I enlarged my bike budget. Doesn't it lack suspension? Wouldn't some be desired for the trails?

atomship47: What do you mean by "longer rides"? On some weekends I'm biking all day--not hardcore though, just exploring the city or meandering through the forest.
