The sticker inside my E2 says (this is my memory it has long since worn off) something about over 120F will make helmet non effective and to discard.

So thats why the plastic keeps rotting off the top of my helmets and the foam cracks! (and I thought it was due to mysterious accidents that I could never recall happening)
