I had a really nice zone 2 ride for 2 1/2 hours today in the pouring rain. It is above 50 degrees, it is almost tropical! A quick light hose off of the bike and later a quick wipedown and it's good to go. I ride a nice Merlin extralight with great components (Dura Ace). I have a winter bike, but hey, what can happen to titanium? Go for it goldbam - it's Seattle - we're supposed to THRIVE in this weather, it's what makes us tough ;-).
