There was another user here that recommended "mini-v" linear pull brakes as a permanent solution to squeal. Apparently he worked in a shop and installed many sets of mini-vs and all were successes.
Mini-vs have 80-85mm long arms instead of 95mm (for regular linear-pull brakes).
