Hey guys -

So a few weeks back i did the LA Bike Tour and noticed that my computer had a different total distance than a few of the other riders that participated. I didnt think was totally out of the norm as a the way you weaved through teh streets might change a few things here or there.

That said - i just got a new bike (univega roadie from my gary fisher utopia) and i commute every day to work (roughly 5 miles) and took the univega out for its inagural ride. After getting to work i noticed that instead of saying 4.7 miles it said 4.42 ... but the route was literally identical (i dont weave and take the same basic path every day) ......

Anyone have any ideas why this might be? I was shocked with the discrepency........ The distance between the magnet/sensor is slightly larger than it was before.. could that be it? It is the placement of the sensor/magnet on the rim/fork?
