The question is, what is the most likely culprit about my fit causing the problem. Logic for me would dictate too long of a reach with the 110mm stem Going to a 90mm may help some as long as this does not effect the rise of the stemand maybe bars that are a tad too wide.
Also, should I be feeling it in my hamstrings too if I'm pedaling correctly becuase I only ever feel that I'm getting a quadricept work-out. Thats about right. The cycling motion is predominantly in the quads. You'd think if I'm doing a proper "upstroke" that I'd get those in there too eh? An upstroke is almost impossible to do. Even the best cyclists in the world don't really pull "up". Try some one legged pedaling and you will see.
Well thanks for the advice, just starting to get serious about a long tour and want to get myself sorted out!
