I got my Saris used for $85; the no-name POS cost me $50 11 years ago.
Definitely worth it. As Rev.Chuck pointed out, it has a much more solid/stable mounting platform to the car. Also, it's a bit easier to get bikes onto the Saris, it's more accomodating of unusual (i.e., non-round) frame shapes, and it's *MUCH* easier to collapse the Saris for storage when it's not being used.
