Oh no it isn't. I had a brakeless freewheeled bike too.


My unicycle is still the only brakeless fixie I have but I still have brakeless freewheeled bike. I don't ride either at high speed in traffic though.

Brakes are good but brakeless isn't bad per se. It's just like the seatbelt thing, attach a brake or pay your ticket. No big deal. If they start confiscating bikes or putting people in jail I think there's a problem otherwise just laminate your ticket and stick it in your spokes. I mod podged my longboarding ticket to the bottom of my board. It's cool.
