Cyclezealot can you please give an example of what types of music you'd like to hear on the radio?

As I've stated before there are 5 CCC stations in this area.

One is called KGLI or KG 95, they play pop & rock, all the current popular stuff as well as music from the '70's & '80's.

Then there is KSEZ or Z-98 they play the harder rock & roll, again the current popular stuf as well as music from the '70's & '80's.

There is KSFT 107.1 FM they play the soft rock. I imagine they play the current popular stuff as well as the music from the '70's & '80's.

There is also a station called 1470 KWSL which is the Fox Sports station.

And finally in the CCC family for this area is KMNS AM 620 which is the News & talk radios station.

I have yet to hear bad quality broadcasting from any of these stations & i have listend to all 5.

Maybe the CCC stations in other areas or your area is differant cyclezealot, but around here it has never been considered crappy media.

I don't know maybe the differance is because you are on the west coast of the US and my area is the midwest where things are a lot differant.

This area also has stations that play country music, 2 in fact. And we have a station that plays classical. As well as a few others that play pop & rock, etc.

CCC only owns 5 of them. The others are either owned by Powell Broadcasting or Waitt Media & one station is the non-profit public radio station that is run by Western Iowa Tech. Community College.

There are other stations as well but I do not know what they are or where they are located. This is a tri-state area so the music selection is very good around here. There are 14 stations listed in the yellow pages.

There is no shortage of music for this area. And just about every genre of music is covered here. The ones I listed or mentioned above are only a portion of what someone can pick up on their stereo's.
