So I'm letting someone borrow my bike tomorrow for a race, and I just finished putting it together today. Everything's great on it, except I'm using my old, triple FD for my new doubles, because I'd read all over that it was fine. And to a degree, it is. But I have to shift twice now to get the chain to switch rings. If I try and adjust the low-limiter to stop it at a single shift it either can't shift far enough down or up, regardless of what I try.

Any ideas? Obv. not a huge deal, but I'd like to have the bike working "normally" for the guy
