I just purchased a new Felt f4c (2006 model). I have used spd pedals on my mountain bike & never had a problem. On the felt road bike I have Look Sprint pedals. In 6 weeks I have broken the cleats 2 times. Once at the tip & once in half. I use cleat covers. What am I doing wrong. Should I get new pedals. I am considering Schimano or Speedplay pedals. I have heard good & bad things about all 3 brands. Any ideas/recommendations ? I just want a reliable road pedal that I can get in & out of.
