Franklen:
We 4 commuters don't ride the few times it snows so there isn't any dripping snow. We don't have ash on our roads, just a brown/black road dirt that accumulates all over our bikes. When its raining, I bounce my bike to get most of the water off before I enter right into an 8 foot wide hallway where the vending machines are located. It has a tiled floor & 2 commuters park bikes here across the aisle from the vending machines. I walk on around the corner about 30 feet to my cubicle & desk. The area is carpeted (dark blue) & I haven't dirtied the carpet so far. The other fellow who parks by his cube is 2 workstations away so there are 2 bikes about 12 feet apart on the same wall. Our main concern is that we not mark up the white wall. Since I see my bike all day long, I am pretty aware of how dirty is & likely clean it more often than if it was outside out of sight. We work in a medium sized office of about 100 people, so if we all cycled there could be a dirt problem. Don
