I didn't think much about the wheels either, until I really cranked on them this weekend. The wheels seem "soft", like the hubs are starting to turn before the rim catches up. At my weight, 290, I am not going to take the chance. Gonna order a set from Mike Garcia and sell the Xero's, before I ruin them. Aside from this, the bike is great, I love it!!
