I have what I assume is an OEM Shimano Ultegra 10 speed chain (CN-6600). I say it is an OEM chain because it came with a different style connecting pin than I am used to. I have attached a photo. The connecting pin does not have a guide section to break off upon completion of the press operation. I have a Shimano TL-CN23 chain tool. Can I set this connecting pin with this tool? If not, can I pull the OEM (non-guide) pin out and put in a normal (with guide) connecting pin? Any other options or procedures I should follow to install this chain properly? Thanks.
