A little bit damp this morning, and around 40F. It was a nice ride though. I saw a pair of loons in Lake Champlain, and chased a couple of squirrels off the MUP.

My new Michelin Transworlds arrived yesterday so I mounted them last night. They went on with a minimum of fuss, but I did have to work at them a little bit with the irons. I like them. Much faster than the stock knobbies (not a surprise) and 2 or 3 MPH faster than the studded Hakkas I've been riding in the winter. Quiet, too. Good for sneaking up and buzzing pedestrians. (Kidding! ) The reflective sidewall is a nice feature.

Unfortunately I noticed my back wheel is a bit out of true so I'll walk it over (1 block) to the LBS this morning to get straightened. I'm a bit of a clydesdale at 6'2" & 200 pounds, and riding on rough-packed ice and snow isn't exactly easy on the wheels. The front one is fine though.
