It's already a fixie. The conversion went very smoothly and it's been 'fixed' for about a year now. I just thought that while I had the drivetrain yanked apart, I might as well overhaul or replace the bottom bracket as it's been jammed in there for 20 years. I really like the crankset and was thinking about simply putting on a single chainring as it looks a little awkward with two chainrings up front.

Currently I'm geared to 42x16. I'd like to keep that setup. Where could I find a 42 tooth chain ring and some single-stack bolts?
