They are tufo, with a diamond tread intended for snow but should be ok for road, IMHO.

I haven't tried them. I bought some Challenge Grifos from Schwab this winter, but didn't like them.

Thanks ... biketiresdirect.com has them a bit cheaper actually.

Tufo lists those as being for hardpack. I think they would work well for my application but I really would prefer the tan sidewalls.

Devin, how slow was the leak on your tyres? Usually with a latex tube like most high-quality tubulars you will need to top up the pressure every couple days. "it's a feature"
