Unless you have training implements of some kind at home you can load with heavy weight, not much will help you retain mass and strength. Just like any sport, you have to get stronger, especially off-season.
Don't stress too much about it - it happens to the pros as well, and as long as you're riding, it won't hurt you too much. Watch your diet, up your protein, and you hopefully won't go too catabolic and slow your metabolism down - that's a recipe for instant weigt gain once you hit the off season.
Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah there are better options, but I do love chocolate milk.

It's like a nice reward for a job well done after a session of intervals.
