I'm talking about operational bikes that you actually ride. I just received my
midlife crisis bike and my wife wants me to thin my collection. I have 5 bikes now, all of which are very different:
1) Touring (my primary commuter)
2) Hybrid (my beater bike)
3) Racer (for climbing and when I want to feel sporty)
4) Tadpole trike/velomobile (for around town errands, and fun rides)
5) Highracer (midlife crisis bike for faster distance riding)
They're all special but the touring and hybrid are on the ones that will have to be let go despite many years of great service and over 40,000 miles on them. When I start a new job later this month, I'm going to make the racer and highracer my good weather commuters while the velo will be the bad weather commuter.
Since BF consists of cycling nuts, I'm just wondering where I fit in.
