i use bontrager hard case race lites and love 'em....they last a while and feel good on the road.

i used to run gatorskins but found they wore out pretty quick and were more prone to flats than the bontrager's. before that i tried armadillos and they just felt like crap on the road and didn't last any longer than anything else.

for added flat-proofing i usually run a bontrager hardcase (700x25) with an old folding 700x23 inside it....it works like a tuffy strip and you're not totally screwed if you skid through your outer tire.
