I can't wait. I am combining this trip with a vehicle recovery mission. A friend's F*rd Escort died at his folk's house in Burlington, WI, which is just about 35 miles from Crystal Lake. We'll come in Friday evening. I'll do the ride Saturday, and we'll tow the POS home that evening. I'm just hoping for nice weather since I probably won't be able to stay over for the rain day. Since I've done a bunch of training this spring in 45 degree rain, I'll probably just do the ride regardless of the conditions.

On some old motorcycle rides I've been on, they've had an award for the oldest combined age of rider + machine. I think you should at least keep track of this -- sounds like you might win yourself. If I come out with the Nishiki I'll be at 79 but it sounds like you'll be close to 90 with your setup, iab!
