There have been dozens if not hundreds of threads in the 50+ forum, maybe a couple regarding "grave problems," that perhaps should have been placed in a more "proper forum." Some of those have created hundreds of posts. I say let the one on global warming run its course. Certainly as apropos as the 110+ posts on "where should I retire" or the over 400 posts on weight loss. Moreover, the discussion has been immensely more civil that what we see via-a-vis the global warming issue on TV or stuff written by the pundits on the issue. Maybe we can start a trend here. Plus there is at least some tie in to cycling. Those of us who chose this as a form or recreation are either a) helping in a very small way to stem the problem or b) not hurting those who believe it is not a problem.
